Gareth's Route Gareth and his trekking partner Ian Napier left the U.K. on February 20th 2004, they entered the Sagarmatha (Mount Everest) National Park on February 25. Gareth and his partner went their own ways soon after they had entered the park due to a disagreement. They originally intended to complete a two week trek there together. Gareth should have flown from Lukla on the 15th of March, and was due to arrive back in the U.K on March 20th 2004. Currently there have been no sightings of Gareth since the morning of monday March 8th. We have put together a map of the part of Nepal Gareth visited, sightings of Gareth have been marked on and dated. The map may take a short time to load, so please be patient. As suggested by the Embassy in Kathmandu we hired a Nepalise 'Tracker' to follow Gareth's route and search for him in other likely places.
